Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does Extended Warranty apply to all purchases made with my ZEN card?

    Not every purchase. Extended Warranty covers electronics and electrical household appliances. This includes audio and video equipment, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, and similar items. The purchase must be from a merchant registered in the EEA, UK, Norway, or Switzerland. Non-electrical items, vehicles, consumables, second-hand or refurbished products, and purchases made via payment intermediaries, instalments, or buy-now-pay-later services are not covered.
  • Do I need to register my product?

    Yes. Registration is required. Go to your transaction history in the app, find the payment for the product, expand its details, and tap "Warranty claim". You have 90 days from the purchase date to complete registration. If you do not register within that window, cover will not apply to that product. Registration requires a product photo taken after unboxing, a photo of the serial number, the manufacturer warranty length, and a receipt or invoice.
  • How long does Extended Warranty extend my cover?

    It depends on which card you use. Paying with a standard ZEN card on any paid plan (Gold, Platinum, or Pro) gives 1 year of extended cover after the manufacturer's warranty expires. Paying with a ZEN PRO Card on the Pro plan gives 2 years. Cover starts the day after the manufacturer's warranty ends.
  • What do I need when submitting a claim?

    Get the product repaired at a manufacturer-authorised service point and pay for the repair. Then tap "Claim request" in the app from the product's details page. Collect service documentation confirming the fault, the repair performed, the total cost, and the payment method. Submit the documentation and proof of payment in the app. ZEN.COM will review your claim and reimburse the repair cost to your ZEN account. The entire process stays within ZEN.COM.
  • What happens if my product breaks during the manufacturer warranty period?

    Extended Warranty covers the period after the manufacturer's warranty ends. If your product fails while the manufacturer's warranty is still active, contact the manufacturer or retailer directly. Extended Warranty begins the day after their cover expires.
  • Does Extended Warranty cover accidental damage?

    No. Accidental damage is explicitly excluded. This includes drops, spills, and mishandling. Extended Warranty covers internal malfunctions caused by a defect in materials or workmanship. Cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, and damage from external causes are also excluded.
  • Can I see all my registered products in one place?

    Yes. Registered products appear under the Products tab in the Extended Warranty section of the app. Each entry shows when the manufacturer's warranty ends and when your extended cover begins. Applications in progress are shown under the Applications tab.
  • How much can I get reimbursed?

    ZEN.COM reimburses the repair cost up to the original purchase price of the product. If you paid 1,000 zł for a product and the repair costs 1,500 zł, you will receive up to 1,000 zł. The total reimbursement across all claims cannot exceed EUR 5,000 per calendar year.
  • Is Extended Warranty available on the Free plan?

    No. Extended Warranty is available on Gold, Platinum, and Pro plans. It is not available on the Free plan. With a standard ZEN card on any paid plan you get 1 year of extended cover. With a ZEN PRO Card on the Pro plan you get 2 years.
