Premium plans are often strong in just one area, such as abroad or a single reward category, and unremarkable in the rest. With a choice like that, it’s easy to wonder whether something is missing. On the ZEN plan you get every benefit from the other three plans, each at the highest limit, plus a few extras available only on this plan.

Everything from the Good, Better and Best plans is still here
Moving up doesn’t cost you anything. The multicurrency account (one card in many currencies) and clear fees from the Good plan, plus the cashback at twice the rate available from the Better plan, stay exactly as they were. Reward Zone, the price difference refunded by Best Price Cover, Extended Warranty and Unlimited Shopping Protection (the cap on claims was already removed on the Better plan) work the same way.
The full travel package from the Best plan is here too: cover for cancellations and delays, liability cover, and help if the airline or travel agency you’ve paid for a trip with ceases operations. It all works when you pay for the trip with your ZEN card, with nothing to switch on before you go. Event Ticket Cover also comes from the Best plan. It protects a ticket to a concert or match that you can’t attend for a covered reason. It has nothing to do with travel.
The limits on these benefits are the same as or higher than on the earlier plans.
What’s only on the ZEN plan
A few benefits are found only on the ZEN plan. Rental Car Excess Cover refunds up to 30,000 EUR of excess, the amount the rental company makes you pay out of your own pocket after an accident. It works at home and abroad. Flight Live Assistant tracks your booked flights from before departure. When a connection is at risk, you often find out early enough to rebook the next leg yourself, before the information shows up on the airport board. If your flight is delayed by more than 3 hours, Flight Delay Lounge Pass sends you a lounge pass on its own, at no extra cost and with no claim to file. If the airport has no lounge, you get 30 EUR for a meal instead. The pass and the meal money are valid for 24 hours. On top of that comes premium 24/7 support, which quickly connects you with an agent. Only on the ZEN plan can you also order a metal card*, for an additional fee.
Five limits are higher than on the Best plan: Best Price Cover, ATM Anti-Theft, Personal Liability Cover, Event Ticket Cover and Travel Cancellation Cover. The Extended Warranty limit doesn’t go up any further, because it reaches its highest level on the Best plan.
The highest limits
The Good plan has no travel protection, and on the Better and Best plans the limits are lower than on the ZEN plan. The highest limits in the whole ZEN.COM offer are on this plan.
The ZEN plan beyond travel
Alongside travel protection, the ZEN plan includes everyday shopping benefits that work whether or not you travel. On top of that come extras available only on this plan: rental car cover, flight tracking and a lounge pass. You don’t have to work your way up through the lower plans to reach the ZEN plan. You can pick any plan straight away, depending on what you’ll use. If you travel rarely, the ZEN plan still works for you every day with ordinary purchases.

I rarely travel. Is the ZEN plan worth it?
Shopping Protection, Reward Zone, Best Price Cover and Extended Warranty work whether or not you book a single flight, just like on the Better plan. If you don’t care about travel, premium support and the option to order a metal card*, the Better plan alone gives you the everyday shopping benefits, at a lower price.
